This course covers basic statistics tools and concepts to teach students how to apply statistical analysis to managerial decisions. By requiring hands-on statistical analysis using MS Excel, the course also aims to develop the students’ data analysis skills. Descriptive statistics and linear regression topics are covered and their applications for a variety of business decisions are discussed.
